Uhhh we actually haven’t played MS or updated this blog in months. We both got busy with our lives outside of Maple and kind of lost interest. :/ So as of right now we’re not playing. Sorry about that. But who knows, we might just end up playing full time again some day in the future! We often take extended hiatuses… very extended. - Zarra

True, I know people make friends and fall in love over the internet all the time. I met my previous boyfriend online and we were together for about a year and a half. I also met Zephye online (in a non-Maple related way). Both I’ve seen in person numerous times, and both are still a couple of my favorite people ever.

I guess the big difference about Maple is that you can’t initially see each other, and that person on the other end can very easily lie to you about themselves. But if you liked each other enough to pursue personal contact outside of Maple, then that’s cool. I understand that. But the thought of strictly in-Maple infatuation or  serious “love” (especially a long-term one), in my opinion, just seems a bit… childish. And sketchy. But whateva. That’s just me. Things happen. :)

EDIT: And yes I know the submission did not say anything about being strictly in-Maple, but it was my first thought when I read it.
